great book written by
composer Benjamin Zander
and his therapist wife
Rosamund Stone Zander. It
proposes looking at difficult situations through the lens of
possibility rather than as
obstacles. The authors present
their case through personal
accounts and stories. Not
didactic in the least.

This book introduces readers to the collaborative process between authors and illustrators. Included are Arthur Yorinks and Richard Egielski, Alice and Martin Provensen, Jon Scienza, Lane Smith and Molly Leach, Julius Lester and Jerry Pinkey, and Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. An interesting look at the experience of creating picture books.
