Carl Angel is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer whose work has been exhibited in galleries througout the San Francisco Bay Area and Hawaii. As an artist, the focus of his work is storytelling, symbolism and its relationship to the human condition.
Carl was born in Bainbridge, Maryland, and grew up in Oahu, Hawaii. He attended California College of Arts and Crafts from 1986-1988 before transferring over to the Academy of Art College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration in 1991. He now lives in San Leandro, California.
